Born and raised on the island of Lesvos, Captain Ilias brings over 40 years of maritime experience to Cosmos. He began his seafaring career at the age of 18 and has since spent more than 250 days per year navigating the Greek islands, serving as Second Officer and Captain on both cruise ships and private yachts. For the past 35 years, he has worked closely with the owner’s family and has been the dedicated captain of Cosmos since her full refit in 2019. His intimate knowledge of the Greek seas ensures safe, smooth, and unforgettable journeys. Known for his deep sense of duty, Captain Ilias quickly earns the trust and admiration of those who sail with him.

Chef: Nikos Tsakalos
Chef Nikos with an experience of more than 15 years, is a charismatic and creative culinary artist, specializing in Greek cuisine with a modern twist. With talent and passion at the heart of his craft, he delivers exceptional tailored to his clients' needs. Drawing inspiration from traditional Greek recipes, Chef Nikos adds an unconventional flair to his dishes, creating a distinctive cuisine. Each plate is a feast for the senses, combining impeccable presentation with unforgettable taste. Guests can expect a 5-star culinary journey with every meal. Hostess: Blerina Muskaj
Blerina is an enthusiastic, experienced, hardworking professional with a vast experience in working on luxury yachts in Greece and the Seychelles. She is probably the most valuable member of our Crew, as she makes herself always available for the guests, always smiling and full of energy, always ready to help.
She speaks English, Albanian and Greek, and with some knowledge of Russian and Italian, she is an excellent hostess, ready to assist in planning your day, or just fixing your suitcase, packing, unpacking for you, preparing your cabin or your late afternoon cocktail hour.
She is organized and meticulous providing a nice warm environment, in which you feel at home.

Deck: Elmer Paderanga
Bringing over 15 years of experience at sea, our deckhand is a seasoned maritime professional with a strong background in both yachting and commercial vessels. Having spent 5 of those years serving as a 2nd Officer, he combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on expertise in vessel operations, maintenance, and safety. His calm demeanor, reliability, and attention to detail make him a valuable member of the crew, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on board and an exceptional experience for our guests.
