Experienced in both technical operations and guest-focused service, Grant is known for his approachable leadership style, meticulous attention to safety, and ability to create memorable guest experiences. His passion for the ocean and versatile skill set make him an excellent captain.

Meet First Mate Juan Groenewald

Mate/Engineer Juan Groenewald, a South African national, offers 10 years of maritime experience with strong technical and diving expertise. Certified in STCW, PADI Divemaster, freediving, and commercial diving, he has worked extensively in the Caribbean as a marine technician and first mate. He has led maintenance across a fleet of 25 yachts, handling mechanical, electrical, and underwater repairs. Energetic, guest-focused, and detail-oriented, Juan combines technical precision with a love for the sea, making him an invaluable asset aboard.
