Captain: Douglas, American
Captain Doug is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, where he grew up exploring the coast of New England from Cape Cod to Maine. Doug has been working professionally in yachting for the past 25 years and has a 1600-ton Unlimited US Coastguard License and a 3000-ton Unlimited International Captain license. He has extensively cruised Mediterranean, Adriatic, Bahamas, Caribbean, and the coast of New England. Captain Douglas Wernick is an active Captain who leads by example, to ensure a perfectly maintained boat, which is ready to provide the highest standard of service.


Chef: Mutlu, Turkish
Mutlu was born and raised in her hometown of Kusadasi in Turkey. She has accomplished many things over the years, including running her family restaurant, being the first woman cameraman in Turkey and being an Iron Woman! In her spare time, she loves to dive, paraglide, and bike. Mutlu has been in the yachting industry for over 30 years, going around the world 6 ½ times, working on both motor and sail yachts, including racing sail. Mutlu’s food is known to “tell a story” and she prides herself on her use of local ingredients, flora and fauna while making every meal as nutritious as possible. Mutlu puts her heart and soul into everything she creates, using her passion and dedication to make every meal amazing and memorable


Chief Stewardess: Phoebe, Australian
Phoebe was born in Red Hill, Australia. She spent her childhood on an Alpaca farm by the ocean. Phoebe found yachting to be a perfect place to combine her love for the ocean, her passion for travel, and her hospitality skills. Since 2013 Phoebe has worked on all types of yachts including private, charter, expedition, and sail. She has travelled extensively through Asia and the South Pacific and has gone as far as Patagonia and the Galapagos! During her free time Phoebe enjoys baking, yoga, diving, visiting wineries and she is always happy to share her travelling experiences. Phoebe loves challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service, she is devoted to making your stay onboard a truly unforgettable experience.


Chief Officer: Lyall, South African
Lyall is from Cape Town, South Africa. Growing up as a real bush baby by the river at his parent’s farm in Zambia. He played semiprofessional rugby while studying Sports Science at University. He is known for his competitive sports nature, always keeping active freediving, Ju Jitsu, CrossFit, Yoga, Everything! Lyall has been in the yachting industry for 10 years working his way up to his dream of being a captain. Lyall prides himself on making the guests have the most exciting trip of their life!


Chief Engineer: Volkan, Turkish
Volkan is originally from the Northern part of Turkey but spent much of his life growing up in Istanbul before starting out his career in Marine Merchant Engineering. He has also worked as a scuba diving and windsurfing instructor. Volkan is known around the boat for his acting role in a Turkish Telenovela and his ever-changing hair styles and looks! Volkan maintains the engine room to the highest standard, taking immense pride in the upkeep and care of the boats systems to ensure a smooth sailing trip.


Stewardess: Jade, South African
Jade is from Durban in South Africa, where she spent much of her childhood travelling around the country with her photographer parents, capturing the nature and beauty of the country. After school she completed a degree in fashion and taught English online before her desire to travel landed Jade in the yachting industry. Jade loves to explore, going on walks, snorkeling, and reading. Jade aspires to always provide the best experience on board and entertain the guests with her happy and bubbly personality.


Stewardess: Gabriela, Colombian
Gabriela was born and raised in Bogota, Columbia where she specialized in Political and Business Relations at University. After completing her studies, she worked in the hospitality industry at a top-class restaurant, Andres Carne. Her event coordinating skills, service background, and a passion for a travel made becoming a stewardess the perfect next step for her. Gabriela is a unique and creative person who enjoys singing, drawing, and cooking. She is both intuitive and attentive and always makes sure guests onboard are comfortable and enjoying themselves.


Stewardess: Leonie, Dutch/South African
Leonie was born in the Netherlands before moving at a young age to South Africa, where she grew up with her family, constantly exploring and swimming as often as she could.
Leonie went to university to study Graphic Design and begun working in the field before her love of travel drove her towards yachting. She is new to the industry but keen to grow and learn and eventually become a chief stewardess. Leonie is looking forward to travelling to new and exciting places and using her love of creativity to make the guests stay on board one to remember.


Bosun: Jason, Honduran
Jason was born in France but when he was 7 his family moved to Honduras. He has a business management college degree and over 10 years working in the sport fishing industry. Jason started his career in the yacht industry in 2021 and has cruised the Bahamas and East Coast of the USA. He has a passion for fishing and adventures and enjoys interacting and entertaining the guests onboard.


2nd Engineer: Herlo, South African
Herlo is from Bloemfontein, South Africa and spent his childhood on a farm and then continued into his family’s business as a Nature Field Guide. His passion for the ocean and travelling led him to yachting. He has been in this industry for over 3 years and enjoys exploring the outdoors, adventures, diving, fishing and long boarding. He is a good communicator with an outgoing yet mature personality. He has a good sense of humor that helps the crew be successful in all circumstances.


Deckhand: Adam, American
Adam grew up in Bridgewater Massachusetts. He loves to be active; always going to the gym, snowboarding, riding quad bikes, hiking, or riding. Adam is known to be very mechanically inclined and one day he dreams of going to Monaco to watch the grand Prix. Adam has found his way into yachting with Remember When being his very first boat in the industry. He endeavors to learn as much as possible within this industry, including all aspects of the job, as well as all the cultural experiences.
