Meet Captain Chris

Born and raised on South Africa's Western Cape coast, Chris seamlessly turned a lifelong love for the ocean into a professional yachting career. After gaining his captain's qualification and working extensively as a bosun and delivery skipper, he entered the charter industry with his partner, Lida. As an accomplished Dive Master and all-around water sports enthusiast for surfing, kitesurfing, and wakeboarding., Chris loves sharing his passion for the ocean—whether leading underwater tours or helping guests get out on the water for some hard earned fun.

Meet Chef Lida

Lida’s journey into yachting grew from a deep love for hospitality and great food, starting in her hometown alongside Chris. After managing bars, waitressing, and cooking, she refined her expertise with professional fine dining training at the Ashburton School in the UK. Today, Lida combines her rich experience with a personal touch—sourcing quality, locally grown ingredients to deliver creative, delicious, and beautifully plated dishes. Whether catering to specific dietary needs or crafting a custom menu, Lida loves making guests feel completely at home while creating culinary moments that remain memorable for a lifetime.
