CAPTAIN – Alexandre LINO (Belgian)

Sail and Work Experience
Around a decade ago, Alexandre discovered sailing on the North Sea. Since then, he has been an active member of his sailing club, embarking on numerous trips. From navigating the Belgian coast to reaching London, the west coast of France, and even Holland, he has explored various maritime routes. It was his sailing adventure in Greece that sparked his desire to pursue a career as a skipper. In 2018, he began his journey in the eastern Peloponnese in the Saronic Gulf before sailing through the Cyclades, operating a Gib'Sea 43, a Jeanneau 54, and a Lagoon 560. Following this experience, he managed a catamaran Bali 5.4 for charters in the Aeolian Islands last summer. Alexandre is a resourceful and knowledgeable individual who is prepared to extend a warm welcome to guests aboard SEAZEN II this season.

Job Description
Alexandre oversees the navigation, general operations, and financial management of the vessel, as well as the well-being and safety of both the crew and guests. He maintains the yacht's efficient functioning at all times, ensuring strict compliance with hazard protocols and regulations. He further takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state laws, and local regulations, managing the crew to guarantee full comprehension and compliance with the vessel's policies. In delegating tasks and supervising the crew's activities, he fosters teamwork and personalised growth.

Stefano Rosolen
Deckhand

Sail and work experience
Stefano brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of deck operation to his role as deckhand aboard SEAZEN II, where he is thrilled to be a part of the team. His two most recent yacht deckhand employments were onboard 88m MALTESE FALCON and 56m LA LUNA – both incredibly prestigious Perini Navi sailing yachts. Stefano is also a highly experienced divemaster, having worked in scuba shops and having led dive operations on previous vessels and dive shops all over the world.

Job Description
Stefano has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. He assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. He has extensive knowledge of sailing yachts maintenance and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.

Silvia Latini
Stewardess

Sail and work experience
Silvia worked as a Marketing Manager for 6 years before her passion for the ocean and travelling the world pushed her to change her career path. It has now been 4 years since she started working seasonally on yachts as a stewardess, deckhand, chef, and nanny. Silvia’s most recent charter project was working as a chef and first mate on board the Jeanneau 64 sailing yacht EXPERIENCES for 10 months. Before that, Silvia was a chef, stewardess, and children’s tutor on board the Outremer 51 sailing yacht BLACK MAMBA for a Spanish family of 5 who were sailing around the world. Silvia is a responsible person who always approaches life with a positive attitude. With a high level of organisation, she works well individually, but is also a strong team player and enjoys working with others. Outside of work, Silvia’s interests include photography, surfing, reading, freediving, and, of course, travelling.

Job Description
Silvia is responsible for organization, management and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met.

Ozge is a culinary maestro, driven by passion and creativity. Her repertoire spans the rich tapestry of European, Turkish, Russian, Asian, and vegan/vegetarian cuisine. With a distinguished career spanning over 14 years, Ozge has honed her craft as a professional chef aboard luxury motor and sailing yachts. Working on yachts ranging from 20 to 43 meters in length over the years, she has consistently delighted discerning clientele and built up her brilliant reputation to what it is today.

Job Description
As the Chef, Ozge is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable, and that all dietary requirements are met. She is a creative cook, varying her meals to provide variety and according to the location of SEAZEN II, to have as much relevance as possible to the region being visited.
