Captain Jason Decker and Chef Lara Ortiz have been sailing together since meeting on the J/24 racing circuit in 2004. After crewing aboard TAHINA from Panama to New Zealand, they purchased her in 2018 and completed an extensive refit, creating a comfortable platform for sharing their love of sailing, water sports, and island life. Their years of cruising together, broad offshore experience, and genuine enthusiasm for helping guests explore shape a charter atmosphere that feels adventurous, personal, and relaxed.
